Dyrud Adventure

The Dyruds, Rodney, Tammi, and 6 month old Justice, are new missionaries
with Mission Aviation Fellowship, eagerly looking forward to serving the people
of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Rodney breathed his first breath in Huntington Beach, California, and grew up
in Santa Ana, California, where his mother led him to Christ. At Calvary Church
of Santa Ana, he enjoyed missions conferences and discovered MAF. He
earned a B.S. in Aviation Flight Technology at Christian Heritage College and
an A.S. in Aviation Maintenance Technology at Miramar College in San Diego,
CA. But it was not until after college that God called him to serve overseas.

Serving people energizes Rodney! He anticipates transporting supplies to
missionaries, air-lifting out medical emergencies, and reducing a 1 week trek
into a 1 hour flight. Rodney leans on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with
all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
